These articles are forwarded to the Associate Editors who will be asked to rank the paper from 1 to 5 based on the following criteria: The top three papers selected will be forwarded to the members of the Editorial Board to rank the paper from 1 to 3 based on the same criteria indicated above.
The paper ranked as number 1 will be designated paper of the year. The other two papers will be honourable mentions. Associate Editors, Editor-In-Chief, and Editorial Board members who are authors first or co-authors on a paper being considered for the Paper of the Year Award will not be eligible to vote in that given year.
